We are a group of residents near Saratoga Springs, NY who are joining to say “NO” to high priced heating fuel.  Each year Power for People will use its group purchasing power to negotiate the best possible price with top local dealers.

As of June 2015, we are extending our “Free For Life” membership! Our drive is to reach over 200 members by the end of this year. More members  in our group means lower prices for everyone.  Let’s save together.

At this time, we only negotiate for propane and heating oil. By negotiating a group price, we are all able to save while not sacrificing the quality and dependability of a full-service fuel company.

Members are guaranteed a fixed mark-up above wholesale prices for their heating fuel purchases. There is no pre-payment of fuel required to join. There is no minimum amount of fuel members are required to buy. The fuel you are purchasing from our supplier comes on the same truck as that for non-members; the only difference is that our members pay less!

• Each year, members pay an annual fee of $40 to participate.
• Seniors and Vets receive a 50% discount from the annual fee.
• Members must provide proof of age or military service every year.
• Membership fee is non refundable.
• Members are allowed to leave the group at any time with a 30-day notice.
• After joining, members call the group supplier to make arrangement for delivery as needed.
